Violet's birthday week
Violet had a fantastic birthday week! Thank you so much to all of you that called her, sent her cards, gave her birthday hugs, or came to her party! She felt really special! Here are some snapshots from the week.
Violet has been doing gymnastics at Break the Barriers for over a year now. On your birthday week, you get to ride the birthday horse. They run you all around the gym with all the other kids running behind in a kind-of parade. She smiled from ear to ear!
Friday night was the kids' school carnival. Our family had a fun time going to the school, helping out at the booths, and eating dinner with friends. Violet enjoyed getting her face painted.
All ready for her tea party guests!
Painting some frames for a craft.
The girls, of course, played dress-up and served each other pretend food.
After dressing up the girls all went outside for a quick game before it started to rain.

Then it was time for tea. Here's the table all set up for the girls. Peanut butter, honey, and banana sandwiches, fruit with pink fruit dip, veggies, vanilla lemonade, and tea.
The centerpiece, Violet's teapot cake and mini cupcakes.
Because the table was full with 8 little girls, Audrey helped serve the food. She did a fantastic job!
Sisters!
Party favors.
After all her party guests left (and the skies cleared), Violet wanted to play outside. She dressed in her new gymnastics clothes and had fun jumping and dancing around the front yard!
