Happy 5th birthday Violet! What a blessing you are to our family! This year you...grew three inches taller,
got your first wiggly tooth (hasn't fallen out yet),
started reading (sounding out and spelling small words),
learned to use the computer keyboard (easy to do once you know all your letters),
learned to swim,
and continued improving on all the other things you already know how to do (cooking with mommy, taking care of Lucy, drawing, writing, etc.).
I also conducted a short survey of Violet on this, her fifth birthday. This is how she replied.
What is your favorite food? Cinnamon rolls.
What is your favorite color? Pink.
What is your favorite toy? Woody. (did not expect this...she plays non-stop with her Littlest Pet shop characters)
What is your favorite book? Clifford.
What is your favorite TV show? Curious George.
What do you want to be when you grow up? A firetruck girl.
Why is that? Because they say woo, woo, woo.
What is your favorite thing to play with your brother and sister? House.
Can you tell me a Bible verse? Joshua 1:9 Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified for the Lord your God will take care of you. (pretty close)
