Audrey's Drama Debut

This past Friday, Robinson Elementary performed their spring musical, "Doo Wop Wed Widing Hood". Audrey was excited to be a part of it! Being a fairy tale, the chorus was costumed as animals or other story-book characters. Audrey was one of six mice on stage. She did great! The whole cast would stand and dance when there was a musical number; otherwise, they would sit and watch the action happening center stage. With six songs total, and a running time of an hour and fifteen minutes, that's a lot for a first grader to focus on! Near the end, she did get a little antsy and started wiggling a loose tooth. We were very proud of her for deciding to do this and finishing up strong (there was a week in there that she thought it was too hard to learn the dances and decided to walk herself home instead of stay for practice)! Thanks to all of you that came and saw her performance...she was so happy to have you come!
