Easter Break

Sorry it's taken so long to get new pictures up...this week has been different with Audrey home. Last weekend we enjoyed a relaxing weekend with the Arndt family at their house in Cambria. I (Jamie) was unfortunately sick with a head cold the whole time...but we still managed to have a good time. We drove up on Friday night, spent the day at the beach on Saturday, and then enjoyed a lazy Sunday morning before driving back home. The kids had a great time playing in the sand while it was overcast in the morning. And then, after lunch, the sun came out and the wind kicked up and they got a chance to fly their kites. The rest of our week has been pretty relaxing. Randy had Monday and Tuesday off (since we were planning to stay on the coast longer), so he got to be home with me and the kids. Thursday, the kids got to spend some time with Grandma Arlene at the park. And this morning they got to go to the Easter Eggstravaganza in the park next to the school (hosted by our church). The kids had fun making a craft, playing some fun games, watching a short play by the 5th and 6th graders, singing songs, and, of course, hunting for Easter eggs. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures since I was helping with the music. But hopefully we will get some good ones over the weekend with the kids hunting for eggs in Grandma Arlene's backyard!
