Porter family vacation, Part 2

The Monday following our crazy weekend was relaxing time!  Emmy was in need of a some down time so we took Clark with us for a morning at the zoo!  My parents hadn't been to see the zoo since we added Sea Lion Cove, the river otter exhibit, or even Sting Ray Bay!  It was a fun couple of hours and the weather was perfect!

Randy has a friend that is a keeper at the zoo.  Randy thought to text him when we got there and he was working that day.  We were planning on just saying hi, but he surprised us by accompanying us behind a couple of enclosures!  We got to feed the giraffes some apples as well as seeing some emus, zebras and warthogs up close!

The tiger was out pacing.

I think everyone got to touch a ray this day!

Isaiah really wanted to be on the bench with the big kids.

Monday evening we went out to Todd Beamer park for dinner and some water play time!  With all of the wedding stuff over the weekend we hadn't had a chance to really celebrate Isaiah's adoption.   Isaiah LOVES being in any kind of water so we figured this was the perfect way to party!  We are so very thankful for all the love and prayers that we have received over the past two and a half years during this process and were glad to be able to celebrate with many of our friends and family that evening!

Tuesday was a driving day as our three families headed up to San Jose to spend the rest of the week together.  Wednesday was more relaxing with a trip to the Heritage Rose Garden as well as the library.
