End of the year performances

Whew!  These last 2 weeks have been quite busy with all this end of the year stuff...I'm tired!  But it is always so fun to attend these concerts/plays/awards ceremonies/open houses and see how much the kids have accomplished!  Three highlights...

Audrey's final orchestra performance at Robinson Elementary

Sitting first chair...she is proud of this accomplishment and is ready to work hard next year to challenge her way up the chairs at both Computech Middle School and in Fresno County Youth Orchestra!

Isaac's last band performance for the year at Manchester Elementary.  Right now he thinks he wants to keep playing percussion with the Fresno County Youth Orchestra next year but learn a new instrument with Mr. Hull at Manchester, maybe the trumpet.  We'll see!

Band at Manchester is quite a commitment.  There are 2 practices a week, sometimes more when it gets close to performance time, and you have to keep track of the practice times on your own and make up the schoolwork you miss while you're gone on your own too.  I think it's well worth the effort!
