Cross-country & Christmas performances

Last week was full of fun events, with the older two running their final cross-country meet, Isaac performing in the 3rd grade Christmas musical, Violet singing on stage this past Sunday morning, and even a night out with with my college roommate who was in town from Texas!

Here is Isaac, ready to sing his little heart out in the December 2011 production of "Oh my Deer". It was only two 3rd grade classes, 6 songs, only 25 minutes long, and absolutely adorable. His part was so short (no words) that even with my camera ready, seeing him offstage and set to go, I didn't click the record button fast enough to actually get him "pulling" Santa across the stage with the other reindeer. Here is their finale song.

Violet's class sang a couple Christmas songs in church on Sunday. I didn't get any video of it since, one, the battery on my camera with video was dead, and two, they are the same songs she has sung the past four years in a row. Randy did take a couple photos though...she looked awfully cute up there, and sang really well!
