Date weekend

This weekend we had date nights on Friday! How can you have multiple date nights all on one night, you might ask? Well... Randy and Audrey got all dressed up for the Father/Daughter 70's dance at school. Audrey groovin' with some of her friends. They started the night with dinner at Ginza (same as last year), then after the dance they came home, relaxed in their pajamas, ate candy and watched a movie together. Isaac and I thought it would be more fun to freeze our tooshies off at a baseball game (42 degrees)! But what else do huge baseball fans do on opening weekend of their home team? We stuck around 'til the end (watching the Grizzlies lose) but we got to enjoy the Friday night fireworks after the game, as well as sharing a corn dog, chicken strips and fries, Corn Nuts, kettle corn, and hot chocolate. Isaac was in food heaven!

And where was Violet this whole time? Having a date night with Grandma Arlene, eating fruit dipped in chocolate AND peanut butter FOR DINNER...IN FRONT OF THE T.V. watching Tangled! Aren't date nights the best?

Saturday night our whole family returned to the baseball stadium (thank goodness the weather was a good 10 degrees warmer) for Game 3 of the Grizzlies' opening series. A few friends joined us as well! Levi LOVES baseball! I'm not sure how much baseball the boys actually watched, but they definitely had a good time! Nia did fantastic! No matter whose arms she was in. Goofy girls!

After two nights in a row of staying up past ten, Isaac slept in past 8 o'clock on Sunday morning (practically a miracle in the Mack household). The girls didn't get up until 9:15! Whew! What a fun weekend!
