This week we kicked off the Christmas season with a couple different traditions. Sunday we put the lights up on the house and stockings on the mantle. Tuesday night we walked down Christmas Tree Lane on Van Ness Boulevard (read
this article from Sunset's December 2007 issue if you've never heard of it) with about 25,000 other people! Randy and I love to do this every year since we walked the lane on one of our first dates (the first picture we ever took together was actually on the Lane). And Thursday night we set up our own tree!

Santa was at Christmas Tree Lane too!
We brought the stroller for Violet since it's four miles total if you walk the whole lane and back, but she didn't stay in it much. She wanted to walk with Audrey and Isaac most of the time. We probably walked about 3 miles though! By the end of the night, Isaac was in the stroller and Violet was being carried. It looks like it's snowing in the picture, but it was actually a heavy mist...almost rain.
