Audrey's birthday

Last weekend Audrey celebrated her 11th birthday! Because the MCC sale was also last weekend and my parents came into town and stayed at our house, we opted to celebrate at a different location, Cal Skate Clovis! Audrey had been asking to go roller skating for quite some time and this was the perfect opportunity! She invited a few friends and we had a great time skating for two hours. Randy's mom lives right around the corner, so after we removed our skates we walked around the block to Grandma's house for cake and presents! Thanks to everyone who gave her a birthday card, present, hug, fritter at the MCC sale! And thanks to Grandma Arlene for letting us party at her place! She felt very special and loved on her birthday weekend! This guy started on roller skates and had a HORRIBLE time staying on his feet. He switched out to rollerblades (which were "just like dad's") and he did much better! Granted, he still fell about 100 times (no joke) but he got the award for getting up the most! He was red-faced and sweaty, workin' hard but having a great time! He was even dancing to the music and trying to jump on his blades before we left. Violet did great too! She and Audrey Nicole perfected pushing themselves along the wall (they were actually going pretty fast) before venturing out with an adult's hand.
