Sorry for the delay of these pictures, but our internet has been very sporadic over the past week. Last Sunday morning (Dec 9) was the children's program at our church. Isaac did very well this year...no storming off stage, complaining that his bell didn't work, or stage-diving! He actually just stood there and sang the songs! Isaac's class (2-5 year olds) sang Jingle, Jingle Happy Bells, Go Tell it on the Mountain, Happy Birthday to Jesus, and I think one more.

Audrey moved up this year to the 1st and 2nd grade class, and so she had her own songs to sing. They sang a version of the 12 days of Christmas (Audrey is holding her "2 silent nights" poster in the pic), and 2 other songs. She did very good singing her solo (she would sing by herself when it got to her number in the song)!

Movin' to the music.

All the kiddos posing in front of the tree after the childrens' program.
This Sunday (Dec 16) was the choir's Christmas program. Audrey sat through all of it; however, Isaac and Violet only made it through the first 20 minutes or so.
Christa Wiens played Mary in the program and held
Jeremy Isaac for the baby Jesus. Jeremy's mom, Jane, got a great picture of Audrey with baby Jeremy (Jesus) and his big sister, Grace.

Jane also got a great picture of Violet with
Charlotte in their matching sweaters! And that's Violet's "cheese" smile!

Well, Audrey had her first day of Christmas vacation today...and we are looking forward to three whole weeks of relaxing days with family and friends! My
brother and sister-in-law fly in this weekend from Portland, and
my parents fly in from Kansas on Christmas night! If we don't get a chance to post before next week...have a wonderful Christmas!!!

You guys look great! I bet it was a great Christmas program. You can sing some of the songs for us when we see you at Christmas.
Love you,
Grandma Janice and Grandpa Bruce
