First word!!!

OK, so she does say mama and dada...but they are still just repetitive sounds that she likes to do over and over. This was her first, very clear, audible word. And what was it? While sitting on my lap and looking at a video of her friend Charlotte (to see the video, click here), she pointed to the computer and said, "baby". I looked down at her and asked, "Who's that?" She said it again, "baby". I smiled and jumped up to get the phone! I immediately called my friend Christa (Charlotte's mom), and without even saying hello, said, "Listen to this". I held out the phone and asked Violet, "Is that Charlotte?". It took her a couple seconds and then said, "baby" a couple times for her Auntie Christa. Yeah Violet!!!
