Pumpkins!

This last week all of the kids have had the chance to go to a Pumpkin Patch. Last Thursday, Jamie, Isaac and Violet met some other moms and kids at the Pumpkin Patch around the corner from our house and had a fun time going through the hay bale maze, riding the ponies (just Isaac), and picking out a pumpkin.

This morning, Jamie went along with Audrey's classroom to the Pumpkin Patch out at Cobb's Ranch. Audrey had a fun time taking a "hayride" around the ranch, seeing the animals, and picking out her own pumpkin. Although if you ask her what the funnest part of the day was, she'll say it was riding a school bus for the first time! The kids are all looking forward to opening their pumpkins this weekend with Daddy, getting out the seeds, and then either carving or painting them together!Audrey with her classmates Keith and Marcelino Riding back to school on the bus with her pumpkin!

I remember when riding the school bus was fun! I don't get so excited about that now, but a pony ride, well that's another story.

That's funny about the bus ride, Joel had his first field trip last week and I was able to go along and help. The kids all were much more excited about riding the bus than the anything else! Great pictures, I'll try sending some from here soon!
