Forestiere Underground Gardens
Two weeks ago, Isaac's class took a field trip to the Underground Gardens here in Fresno, dug in the early 1900s by a man named Baldassare Forestiere. Since it is underground (as its name states) taking pictures was a bit of a lighting challenge. I managed to get a few good ones, although they don't do the place justice. It is an amazing place to visit! It is even more amazing to think that all of it was built, or rather, dug by one man!
