This past Thursday our Moms' Group went to the Sierra Endangered Cat Haven. It was a wonderful day trip! Here's some photos from the day, and two videos of Kong the tiger. The keeper warned us that the tiger likes to roar at groups of children, so I got the video rolling. After about a minute she said, "Well, I guess not today." I turned off my camera as she turned around to leave and the tiger jumped from it relaxed position, up onto the fence, with a deafening, terrifying roar. I quickly turned back on the camera to film the after effects!
