One of the things Randy and I love about the holidays is the excuse to get together with lots of family and friends! So this past Thursday, since Randy's boss didn't plan a "work" party, we decided to invite some of Randy's co-workers (not to mention they're all great friends) over for a dinner party! I attempted to make pho (a Vietnamese soup) for our main course...I say attempt because it was good, but nothing near as good as we've eaten before (like in San Jose or Portland). Everyone else brought something to add as well, like egg rolls, spring rolls (hand-made by Megahn herself, pictured at left), pad thai, coconut shrimp, and sake all the way from Japan (Jaime and Andrea just got back from Japan where they attended her brother's wedding). We had a great night sitting around the table, eating, talking, and laughing ourselves to tears at times! I even managed to get pictures of everyone!

Aaron and Christa Wiens. Nope, Randy doesn't work with Aaron...but if I could say I had some "work" friends, Christa would be one!

Mike and Abi Alaniz...Mike is the other physical therapist with Randy and Abi works as a nurse at the Oncology Clinic at the hospital.

Jaime and Andrea Jacinto. Jaime is a nutrition specialist at the hospital and Andrea works for Poison Control (which is housed on the Children's Hospital Campus).

Megahn Williams, who works as an Occupational Therapist at the hospital, and her friend, Frank.

And us!
