We're home!

Just a quick note to let everyone know that we made it home safe and sound. We left Kansas on Thursday morning and drove to Grand Junction, Colorado (the last stop before entering Utah) for the night. Yesterday morning we woke up bright and early and headed out to see the sights of Utah. We stopped quite a bit along the way at scenic turnoffs, historic sights, and a quick drive into Zion National Park. We made it to Saint George (at the very south-west point of Utah) by 5:15 p.m. We thought this would be our stopping point for the night...buy it was still so early! So we ate a quick dinner at Cracker Barrel (YUM!) and got back on the road. By 8 p.m. we were looking at the lights of Las Vegas! No way we're stopping now! With a quick stop for gas and to get the kids in their pajamas, we got back in for the long haul! At 2:45 a.m. we pulled into our garage...HOME! A big thank you to all who were praying for our safe travels! We had a wonderful time and I will post pictures of our second week of vacation in the next couple days!

Glad to hear you are safe at home! Y'all are crazy with the hours of driving per day. I don't know how you did it will all those kids! Can't wait to see more pics.
